THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the National Technical Manager, this role offers a proactive, self - motivated Electrical trades technician the opportunity to self-manage and take ownership of multiple sites within the Childcare sector.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide repair and maintenance services to our partner and deliver on reactive breakdown, proactive repairs/upgrades and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) services to several sites
- Work with limited supervision to proactively and flexibly anticipate and resolve issues so that critical breakdown issues do not occur
- Be an effective communicator and develop strong partnerships, particularly at a site level
- Ensure a safe work environment; proactively identify and manage hazards and risks
- Participate in a call-out roster if required
To be considered for this role you will have/be:
- Must be Trade qualified / holder of an Un-Restricted “A Class” Electrical Licence
- Proven experience in the retail and/or commercial electrical field completing all planned preventative maintenance types and a variety of breakdown work
- Demonstrated fault-finding competencies
- Cabling Licence, CPR/LVR – Desirable
- Current Working with Children's Check - Essential
- Must have a Full Driver's license
This role will be covering the Greater Sydney Region.
