THE OPPORTUNITY
Based in our Mulgrave Head Office this role will Assist the Finance Manager with the smooth running of the Finance function of the Company to ensure the timely and accurate preparation and presentation of the Company’s financial data as directed in accordance with Australian and international accounting standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist with the preparation of the management accounts and forecasts in line with the business models
- Proactive analysis of costs and cost drives to support Operations team to manage budgets and deliver an efficient service
- Completion and submission of the management accounts in line with the month end and year end timetables
- Assist with the set-up, updating and integrity of City forecasting and planning models/tools
- Deliver operational finance support to business (support other departments with financial matters/queries) as required
To be considered for this role you will have / be:
- A degree in accounting or similar subject from a recognised university – Essential
- Professional qualification (CPA / CA / CIMA) – Essential
- High level numeracy and reconciliation skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with figures
- Advanced level of computer literacy, various finance system experience and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work independently and liaise with Senior Management
